Bring back the snowstorm!

It is unbelievably fucking hot here! I've got a fan at full blast behind me, windows open. My handkerchief (I always carry one) is soaking wet on my neck. For the first time since I left India, I'm wearing nothing but a pair of pants, an extremely thin short-sleeved shirt (I don't know why I brought that along, but it sure is handy), and Bata slippers.

Others back home might disagree, but I somehow think that today here is as hot as it gets in Madras. There's even the familiar accentuation of all odours on the streets; a very warm breeze; heck, even the bus driver played some Hindi songs. Yeah! True. I thought it was the mind-numbing heat that made me delusional, but it is true. For a while it did feel like I was on a bus in India.

In other news, the Aussies are in a bit of a bother themselves in Bristol

its horribly hot man... though its just around 28 deg C, it feels like 40 plus. i was out on the street for just 45 minutes, but couldn't bear it any more.

its 40deg here in delhi !! .. i dont think you actually want to comapare what we feel here in delhi !! :( ..

think i have bumped into you in the corridors or PSBB KKN. I think u are the same person. tried a while to see if u had any pictures posted on your blog..nevertheless, nothing can beat 90 F living in the midwest.
