Everybody�s getting older
My uncle (dad�s younger brother) was home to give us our new clothes that would invite us to my cousin�s thread ceremony. I�m now an adult in the family (hmm�), so I too get a formal invite with shirt and dhoti. My mother�s choice of saree was interesting. I remember, as a kid, seeing only �old women� in checked silk sarees; now my mom�s picked one.
