Sometimes I wish I had formally studied literature as well
Well, maybe it is still not too late. As of now all I can do is talk about visual literature the film as a literary medium. Lazy wanted me to include some stuff about in medias res (originally in the comments to troy) in the main blog as well.
I feel it is a relevant discussion kept in context. So here is continuation of the discussion.

5:56 pm, July 21, 2004http://www.flavorsthemovie.com/ may interest you, if you haven't already checked it out. What does intense_red mean to you? I ask you because I wrote a screenplay titled intense_red and we were all set to shoot; we even gave casting calls... and the project went belly-up. I thought I had met you at that time, somewhere in 2001? never mind.

Suman: Intense_Red... bloody nice name. Does this ring a bell? The only casting call I took up in 2001 was for Boys :p
But your project sounds interesting. If you dont mind, would you be interested in sharing more info with me? :)
BTW Is Flavors to be released in India anytime soon?
Sat: The Cut is the all too famous editing device.. "vetting and otting". Not the censor variety.. but the aesthetic / directorial decisions on when and where to cut.
